President Larry Puls called the meeting to
order at 7:15 pm at American Legion Post # 2 with 11 members present.
Secretary Lynn Fehr read the minutes of the
April 1, 2009 meeting. A motion was made to accept the minutes as read.
Seconded and carried.
Treasurer Dale Parker read all the clubs
transactions. Dale Parker reported that the field rent has been paid. A
motion was made by John Gilbert to accept the Treasurer’s report as
presented. Seconded and carried.
OLD BUSINESS
Larry Puls mentioned that the COBRA Field
Sign needs replacing. A discussion followed on cost and color schemes.
Suggested colors are: Red border with white background and Blue
lettering. Also suggested Gold border with white background and Blue
lettering. It was requested that Dale Alva present us with 81/2”x11”
samples of the sign combinations.
NEW BUSINESS
Ed Splittgerber made a motion to accept a
set-up safety stand. The unit will be free from Steve Jorden. Seconded
and carried.
The Dusk Patrol will be June 7, 2009 from
3:00pm to dusk.
The Old Timers Fun Fly will be June 27,
2009.
Dale Parker made a motion that we return $40.00 membership to Roger Vaad
since he will mow the field weekly. Seconded and carried.
John Gilbert made a motion to research the
costs to put limestone rock on the field entrance road. Seconded and
carried.
With no further business a motion was made to adjourn at 8:20pm/

Ed Splittgerber displayed his new
Electi-fly SE-5 Biplane.
Larry Puls showed off our new wind sock in
bright orange, which was donated by Wayne Henning.
