President Larry Puls called the meeting to
order at 7:17 pm at American Legion Post # 2 with 10 members present.
Secretary Lynn Fehr read the minutes of the
June 3, 2009 meeting. A motion was made by John Gilbert to accept the
minutes as read. Seconded and carried.
Treasurer Dale Parker gave the Treasurer’s
report. A motion was made by George Eheman to accept the Treasurer’s
report as presented. Seconded and carried.
OLD BUSINESS
The President Larry Puls gave a Thank you
to those who worked at the COBRA Field. Those who worked are: Dale
Parker, Larry Puls, Bruce Turner, John Gilbert and Brain Peterson. The
Safety fence is now finished.
NEW BUSINESS
There was a discussion about providing
shade at the field. John Gilbert stated that he would buy a tent cover
with frames and open sides. Ed Splittgerber made a motion that we accept
the offer. Seconded and carried. The method of mounting the unit to the
ground was discussed.
Brian Peterson brought price quotes for
siding on the north side of the building. Vinyl or tin siding was
discussed. Ed Splittgerber made a motion to spend up to $300.00 for Tin
siding on the north wall of the building. Seconded and carried.
With no further business John Gilbert made
a motion to adjourn at 8:17 pm. Seconded and carried.
SHOW & TELL
Lynn Fehr showed his Twin Engine corporate
cargo plane. The aircraft has a lithium poly battery and 2 brushless
motors swinging 4” props.
