President Larry Puls called the meeting to
order at 7:10 PM at American Legion Post # 2 with 16 members present.
Secretary Lynn Fehr read the minutes of the
July 1, 2009 meeting. A motion was made by Howard Hough to accept the
minutes as read. Seconded and carried.
Treasurer Dale Parker gave the Treasurer’s
report. A motion was made to accept the Treasurer’s report as presented.
Seconded and carried.
OLD BUSINESS
The North Wall siding was discussed. The
siding is up and looks great. Also, the shade cover is up. John Gilbert
ordered 30” spiral tie downs. He reported that the pins are pulling up.
Larry Puls thanked the following members
who worked 2 days, Lynn Fehr, John Gilbert, Howard Hough, Dale Parker, Brian
Peterson, Dave Piper and Larry Puls. John Gilbert brought rolls, water,
fried chicken, vegetables and Howard Hough brought donuts.
NEW BUSINESS
Ed Splittgerber who also is a member of the
Western Flyers Club stated they have some good benches that they have no
further use for. Lynn Fehr suggested we acquire these 2 benches to
replace our old benches.
The Dusk Patrol Fun Fly of July was
canceled because of high winds.
With no further business John Gilbert made
a motion to adjourn at 7:50 PM. Seconded and carried.
SHOW & TELL
Mike McKinney brought his newly built
Nieuport C-17 biplane which he won at one of our club raffles.
Dave Alva showed off his OS.91 powered
Epsilon plane, made by A.C. Models with a wingspan of 63”
