President Larry
Puls called the meeting to order at 7:12 P.M. at the American
Legion Post #2.
Minutes of the
February 1, 2006 meeting were read. A motion was made to accept the
minutes as read. Seconded and carried.
Dale Parker gave the
Treasurer’s Report, which showed the balance. A motion was made to
accept the Treasurer’s Report as given. Seconded and carried.
OLD BUSINESS
Dale Parker read
the budget report from the Feb 15, 2006 Budget meeting which was held at
the Council Bluffs Fish & Game Club.
Roger Vaad reported
on the needs for the flying field and the tractor.
NEW BUSINESS
A motion was
made to accept the 2006 Budget Report as presented. Seconded and carried.
George Eheman will
set up a weekly Thursday morning fly with coffee and donuts starting April
5, 2006.
Larry Bailey stated
that there is a Glider meeting at Chalco Hills at 7:00 PM on Thursday
March 2,2006.
Howard Hough gave a
report on the Cedar Falls Fun Fly that was held on February 25, 2006.
R/C. Control Line and Rubber Power were represented.
With no further business a
motion was made to adjourn the meeting at 7:58 PM.
SHOW AND TELL
Larry Bailey showed
his Thomas Flyer Canard aircraft, which is for indoor flying.
Keith Paskewitz
showed a custom-made hardwood stand for aircraft.
Larry Puls brought
several electronic items such as a talking timer, temperature gauge and
E-Flite power meter.
