President Larry Puls called the meeting
to order at 7:16 P.M. at the American Legion Post # 2.
Larry Puls introduced a guest Ed
Splittgerber who plans to join the club at this meeting.
Minutes of the January 4, 2006
meeting were read. A motion was made to accept the minutes as
read. Seconded and carried.
Dale Parker gave the
Treasurer’s Report. A motion was made to accept the
Treasurer’s Report as given. Seconded and carried.
OLD
BUSINESS
Larry Puls suggested that we
keep the 1st and 3rd Saturdays for
Glider Flying. It was pointed out that the powered planes
could also fly on these days.
NEW BUSINESS
Larry Bailey proposed that we have 3 days for
Glider Fun Flying this summer. A motion was made to have April
30, June 25 and September 10 as Glider Fun Flys. Seconded and
carried.
Ed Splittgerber and Larry
Bailey suggested that we have an Old Timer Event. A motion
was made to have an Old Timer Event on Saturday June 17,
2006. Seconded and carried.
A motion was made that we give
Keith Paskewitz and Bud Kilnoski a 2006 Cobras membership.
Seconded and carried.
A motion was made to give
Larry Puls his 2006 membership in exchange for his bill for
Color Printer Cartridges. Seconded and carried.
With no further business a
motion was made to adjourn the meeting. Seconded and carried
at 8:22 P.M.
SHOW AND TELL
Mike McKinney brought his OS.46 powered Pete-In-Poke
aircraft. It has a parasol wing and open cockpit.
Dale Parker
brought his Sig ARF Rascal, which is now powered by OS.10
engine.
Larry Puls brought his foam
twin motor powered Twin Star II. It will fly indoor or
outdoor. The aircraft weighs 40 oz.
Larry Puls and Ed Splittgerber
set up a video on a lap top computer to show the flying of a
20-foot Blimp during the Rolling Stones Concert.
