President Larry Puls called
the meeting to order at 7:13 P.M. at the American Legion Post #2. There
were 14 members present.
Minutes of the November 7, 2007 meeting were read. A motion was made to
accept the minutes as read. The motion was seconded and carried.
Dale Parker gave the Treasurer’s Report. A motion was made to accept the
treasurer’s Report as given. The motion was seconded and carried.
The election of club officers was discussed. A motion was made to accept
the current officers if they will accept another term. The motion was
seconded and carried.

Dale Parker Treasurer
The Christmas Party was confirmed for Jan 2, 2008 at Golden Corral.
George Eheman presented the Old Timers flying dates for 2008.
The dates are: May 17, June 21, July 19, and August 16.
Dean Dingman made a motion that a planning committee be formed, for the
purpose of planning, budgeting, advertising and promoting the Western
Front Dawn Patrol 2008 event to be held at the COBRAS Field on September
20 –21. The planning committee to include Larry Puls and Dean Dingman, and
others to be determined by them as necessary, including (but not limited
to) other COBRAS R/C Club members. A representative of the planning
committee will give monthly updates at the COBRAS meeting on the status of
the event. The motion was seconded and carried.
Dean Dingman made a motion that we have a Dusk Patrol starting April 6,
2008 from 3:30 PM to Dusk on the 1st Sunday of each month. The motion was
seconded and carried.
Dale Parker made a motion to give 2 Christmas Party Dinners and a 1-year
membership to Roger Vaad for his grounds maintenance service. Motion was
seconded and carried.
Lynn Fehr stated that the Community of Christ Church flying times will be
on Thursday from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM and that the cost will be $2.00 per
person.
With no further business, Larry Bailey made a motion to adjourn the
meeting at 8:13 PM. The motion was seconded and carried.
Dale Parker gave away an old Sterling kit for 36” Corsair.
Adam Shelburg gave a demonstration on building with a product called Core
Plast.
Dean Dingman brought his 64”,0.91-powered SE-5.
Ed Splittgerber brought a J-3 Cub with a 78” wingspan.
Larry Puls showed his SE-5 picked up in Butler, Missouri.
